These SMS Terms & Conditions govern all text messaging programs operated by Chef Life Media LLC dba Chef Life Radio, Chef Life Coaching, The Chef Life Brigade, The StaffApp, BanquetOS, AlaCarteOS, LaunchOS, and VivWell (collectively referred to as “Chef Life Media,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Chef Life Media, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Programs Covered
Chef Life Media operates multiple SMS programs across its brands, including but not limited to:
- Chef Life Radio SMS Updates (e.g., keyword CHEFLIVE)
- Conference & Event Resource Opt-Ins (e.g., keyword BRIGADE)
- Event Registration Confirmations & Reminders
- Leadership Labs & Workshop Notifications
- General Informational Updates for subscribers who opt in via web forms
- Coaching program and training-related communications where SMS consent is provided
Each program may differ in content and frequency but is governed by these Terms.
2. How You Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Chef Life Media in one of the following ways:
- By texting a published keyword (such as CHEFLIVE or BRIGADE) to a designated phone number, whether entered manually or initiated via QR code, link, or other promotional materials.
- By providing your mobile number and affirmatively selecting an SMS consent option on a website registration or sign-up form.
- By registering for an event, workshop, program, or coaching engagement and explicitly agreeing to receive SMS updates related to that registration.
Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase, enrollment, or access to content or services.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the program for which you opt in.
Examples include:
- Chef Life Radio updates: approximately 1–4 messages per month.
- Event-based programs: 1–3 messages per event.
- Coaching or training notifications: periodic updates related to your enrollment.
- Transactional reminders: sent only in connection with a specific booking, registration, or scheduled session.
Message frequency may vary.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and mobile plan.
Chef Life Media does not charge a fee for SMS messages.
5. Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying:
STOP
After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from that specific program unless you re-subscribe by texting the applicable keyword again or opting in through an approved method.

7. Carrier Disclaimer
SMS delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
